Giving Back to Our Community

Schulfer & Associates Wealth Management hosts Central Wisconsin’s annual community “Shredding Party” each May benefiting Pacelli Catholic Schools, a charity that is dear to our hearts for many reasons. Individuals and businesses are invited to bring their no longer needed documents containing sensitive information to be collected and shredded. For the service, donations are accepted with 100% of the proceeds directed to a specific need chosen by the schools. Over the past nine years, we've raised over $24,600 and destroyed and recycled 101,779 pounds of confidential documents. Projects that the Shredding Party has funded include upgrading the security system at Pacelli High School, purchasing robotics kits for the 8th grade class at the middle school, new technology equipment for the schools, materials for the Singapore math program, and new playground equipment for the early childhood center, instrument lockers for the band room and an equipment trailer for traveling during school events, such as music and sports. Schulfer & Associates hosted and was the major sponsor for the annual adults-only Boy Scout fundraiser; all money stays local benefiting scouts in our community. In 2014, we decided to try something new and changed it to our annual BBQ Pulled Pork Dinner “Fund-Racer!” Cumulatively, $4,900.00 has been raised for local scouts.
